1. The bowl show is open to members in good standing.  To be eligible, you must have a paid-up membership.
  2. All entries must be in by 8:30 pm.
  3. All entries must be shown in clear, glass, or plastic, flat-faced containers, drum bowls, or tanks.  No Jars.
  4. No gravel or ornaments will be permitted.  Black paper will be provided for the bottom of the bowls.  Black backgrounds may be used.
  5. First-place winners cannot be entered again until the start of the next season.
  6. Ribbons will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place winners.
  7. The name of the fish and exhibitor must be recorded upon entry.
  8. The index card will show the fish’s entry number and common name.  It must be placed with the tank.
  9. The maximum number of entries per exhibitor is three.
  10. Entries may either be a single fish or pairs.
  11. Point System:
    • 1 point for each entry (maximum of three points per month)
    • 3 points for an honorable mention4 points for third place5 points for second place
    • 7 points for first place
  12. An entry point is only given if that entry does not win the first, second, third, or honorable mention.  For example:
    • You enter three fish.  Your three fish win:
      • First place (7 points),
      • Honorable mention (3 points), and
      • One entry doesn’t win (1 point). 
    • You earned 11 points.
  13. Any family member is entitled to enter the bowl show.
  14. The member entering can accumulate points as an individual or as a family.  If the family chooses to enter only as a family, they will then only be allowed three entries per month, and the points are credited only to the family.
