This is the monthly meeting of the Metropolitan Area Killifish Association (MAKA). Please check their website for meeting details. MAKA, an affiliate club of the American Killifish Association, is one of the oldest specialty aquarium associations in the United States. Organized in 1970, the club’s active members include such well-known aquarists as Rosario LaCorte (Secretary), Lenny Mackowiak (President and former AKA New & Rare Species Committee Chairman), and George Slusarczuk (former editor of the AKA Journal). The Metropolitan Area Killifish Association meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
